Ittihad University (IU) is the first-largest private university located in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), United Arab Emirates.

Founded in year 1999 according to the Emiri Decree No. 9/99 issued by H.H. Sheikh Saqr Bin Muhammad Al-Qassimi, the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah Emirate, Member of the Supreme Council.

The University also enjoys the support of H.H. Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al-Qassimi, the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah Emirate. The University was granted Official Candidacy to operate as an institution of higher education by COMMISSION FOR ACADEMIC ACCREDITATION, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research United Arab Emirates.[1]

The University is divided into four undergraduate colleges (schools) that encompass a broad range of academic fields and campuses boast large numbers of distinguished faculty.
